SUMMARY:Engineering Biomaterials - Pilot Innovation Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The mounting challenge of sustainability and new technological solutions are together making bio-based supply chains an increasing possibility\, that in the future will become a necessity. \n \nIn this workshop we are looking to broker innovative connections and partnerships amongst those involved or interested in biomaterials\, in areas such as composites\, polymers\, and production of relevant crops\, as well as customer industries such as construction\, packaging and transport. \nThrough some short talks and an interactive group session we will explore the challenges and opportunities in this supply chain in our region\, aiming to form new projects and groups who we can support to pilot new innovations and increase the overall connectedness of these supply chains. \nBy coming along\, we hope you will benefit through \n\nConnections to businesses and researchers in the biomaterials supply chain\, opening doors to collaborations and other deals\nInformation about technological developments and market opportunities from potential buyers\nDevelopment of a shared voice for this supply chain\, which we will use to call for improvements to the regional business\, innovation and research environments.\n\nIf you would like to speak at this event\, please email Aaron Hunter at ahunter@hethelinnovation.com.
