Established in 2008, the EIC is a globally established not-for-profit organisation that acts as a single gateway for all innovators to access the industry, helping them to develop ideas from concept through to market-ready solutions and providing support every step of the way.
Working in partnership with thirteen gas, electricity, and water utilities, Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) and National Grid Electricity Transmission, the EIC bridge the gap between industry and innovators. They have an extensive knowledge and consistently deliver a proven route to market for innovative ideas and technologies.

The EIC offers all registered users’ access to a unique space that allows innovators to promote their ideas and products, share development proposals and open up discussions within the community. In addition, innovators can access a wealth of aids such as innovator toolkits and a Funding Finder.
